Committee Members and Liaison

The Marketing & Member Relations Committee consists of association members who are involved in public relations, publications and marketing in the automotive aftermarket industry as well as interested members from other AAIA segments. The committee reviews and suggests ways to better market the association and to enhance the public information program for internal and external audiences.

The committee collaborates with Membership Services to develop ways to communicate AAIA's programs and services to members, potential members and the industry. In addition, committee members suggest methods to market new AAIA services. The group identifies key benefits for the AAIA Segments to promote the association to prospective members.

Members of the AAIA Marketing  & Member Relations Committee also serve as an unofficial editorial board for the association. The committee informally reviews the association's publications and other communications. This review gives AAIA staff input about ways to improve publications.

Committee and Liaison

Committees meet three times a year for association planning purposes. Opportunities exist to become involved in the leadership of the association through serving as volunteers on committees. Each year committee rosters are reviewed and candidates are nominated. Individuals interested in serving on an AAIA committee must send a letter of interest and a bio to AAIA Chair, c/o Dedra Selby at dedra.selby@aftermarket.org.
