International Trade Events at AAPEX
AIA Seminar Series
Oct. 30 and Nov. 1, 2007 Las Vegas, Nev.
Tuesday, Oct. 30, 7:45 a.m. to 9 a.m.: “Selling Parts for Imports: Did You Ever Consider Listening to Your Customer? The Installer's View” Presented by Auto International Association (AIA)
Registration Required. Continental breakfast included. This powerful seminar drew a standing room only crowd at AAPEX 2006 and generated a valuable dialogue that made a real difference for participants. A panel of import parts specialists, who cater to the general repair market and order parts in a more traditional manner, will detail specifically what they want and need from their auto parts suppliers. Bill Guinard, Olympus Auto Parts, will represent the selling side of the industry and former AIA chairman Marty Gold, S-G Imported Car Parts, will moderate. Relevant and timely questions to be addressed will include: How conscious are you of the brand of parts you install on your customer’s car; and How can your parts supplier help you to compete with expanding dealer service networks? While everybody has ideas of how to go to market, this is a great opportunity to join the discussion and hear from the guys on the front lines.
Thursday, Nov. 1, 7:45 a.m. to 9 a.m.: “Selling to the U.S. Aftermarket: Getting it Right”
Presented by Auto International Association (AIA)
Registration Required. Continental breakfast included.
Back by popular demand for its seventh year, this seminar always fills the room. This session is a high priority for international parts suppliers, especially those wishing to begin or expand sales to the U.S. aftermarket. Presented by industry expert Henry Allessio, Walden Consultants, the session will share valuable strategic advice as it outlines the opportunities in a complex and changing aftermarket roadmap. Suppliers who have followed the “Getting it Right” advice will share their experiences.
